Cozy up at Panera Bread

Fall is just about here. We all love to start wearing boots and drinking Seasonal Flavored coffees. Another thing I love about Fall (well anytime of year) is Panera Bread. I love coming in on chilly days and enjoying either some french onion or cheddar broccoli, in a bread bowl is the only way I eat my soup! My local Paner a Bread is also great in customer service. We were treated very well and even had a worker offer to take our dirty dishes while we carried on with conversation! Panera has really upped their game as well. They got a new trash system. It is very nice, clean granite like counter top with a hole for food, dishes, and also recycling. They have a lot of new things to offer such as Pumpkin Spice Coffee, gourmet cupcakes, and also the rigatoni san marzano.

While we waited for our food to be made I got a very refreshing iced green tea, my favorite. We got all of our food fast and hot. I can tell you as a mom to a newborn, it was very nice to have a hot meal made for me. I had am amazing time at Panera Bread and suggest you try out any of their dishes because they never fail to amaze me. The prices are not bad at all. For a little under 7.00 you can get a “You pick two” There are so many different combinations, you will find something that works for you.

Let’s start with the rigatoni san marzano. It was a lot better then I thought it was going to be. This dish has peas, spicy sausage, and san marzano tomatoes. It also includes tender rigatoni pasta. Did I mention it is only 650 calories. I know, how can a dish that looks so good only be 650 calories. Panera bread has always seemed to be on the healthier side.
We also tried the tortellini alfredo which is also just about 740 calories. That was very good as well.
Now my favorite meal from Panera! I love to get the You Pick Two. I got french onion soup in a bread bowl with a Greek salad and also a bagget. Nothing better goes with it then the iced green tea.
Panera also offers really good kids meals. Almost all kids love mac and cheese!
We also were treated to some scrumptious gourmet cupcakes. Now, I do have to say these cupcakes are a lot better then the local gourmet cupcake stores I have gone too. You can buy a four pack of them to bring home for a treat later. I tried chocolate and vanilla. I can not pick a favorite.
