Maxi-Cosi Kaia Stroller

I received product samples in exchange for my honest review.

Who here has kids? HA! Crazy question right. Don’t answer that, I know most of all of you have a kid or did at some point (they left the nest), or maybe trying too. Well if you in the market for a great light weight stroller, this is perfect for you.

The Maxi-Cosi Kaia blew me away. Literally I was shocked. I did not want anything to do with it in all honesty. I hate, HATE umbrella strollers. I despise them. I can’t even tell you why. I figure If I am going to use a stroller I want a nice one. Well after getting this type of smaller, light weight one. I would be in shock to compare it to all the other umbrella strollers I thought it was like. It was really easy and fast to assemble to begin with. Thank gosh because I do not need a headache to put together a child’s product when the child is already a A+ student in giving me headaches already! The stroller is very sturdy and strong. It moves with ease and its just great. The stroller stands up when folded, so no need to bend, reach, and drag to the trunk of the car or inside the house. If you purchase the Maxi-Cosi Mico or Prezi car seat it can literally be used from newborn to 4 years old (50lbs). Mind blown yet? No yet! I’ll keep going then.

The Kaia is available in two colors red and black. I got the red and personally love it. It is high end in quality and appearance. Its super easy to fold and carry with my son in his carseat in the other hand! That never happens. You should see me dragging grocery bags inside with him on the other hand. People were looking at me like super mom most likely. There are some great features I love about the stroller that just makes life a little easier.

Look at the side profile. Awesome! That’s all the way laid back too.
This is my hansom little man. He is three months old and fits nice. He is snug in here and was not going anywhere. He has pretty good head control and is reclined all the way. He was so comfy he kept falling asleep while I was snapping away at him.

You can see below the what I call foot rest. He is still little so I like to have it up and hold up his little feet. It’s great that you can extend it for those long legs of older children or drop it.

When you need to move the straps up, its takes about 1 minute.
To recline the back, just squeeze the middle piece
and push up or down! Super easy to do!

You easily Push the plastic piece out and then push it back through the slot that your child would need to fit them perfectly. I LOVED how easy it was. It took me a few minutes to figure it out because I was looking for something complicated. Instead it was a simple task that’s easy to do to make sure it is always fitting your growing child.

Do not mind my awkward girls! When I get a camera at, all pretty smiles go out the window. This is my 3 year old. She fits in just right and I had to practically drag her out of it. She still doesn’t seem to understand why she has to walk with this cool stroller around.
This is my well now 5 year old (October 30 she turned 5). She is a skinny mini. She also fit in here. I wouldn’t use it for her because she is 5! She can walk now. If ever need be though. She could fit and ride in it comfortably. The stroller was still easy to push around with all that miss diva in it!
In order to fold this up, don’t worry that’s a simple task as well. You make sure your breaks are not locked and squeeze the handles and push up with your foot. DONE! It folds in a simple step.
Did I tell you it comes with a cup holder too. Heck yes! Now I have a spot for my caffeinated drink! I’ve noticed a lot of the newer strollers don’t come with them now but to get one with a light weight on the go stroller. This is a extra bonus and gets brownie points in my book. I can remove it too if I need to clean it for some reason.

How adorable is he? He melts my heart! He was so content in the stroller I did not want to take him out. We love taking this stroller for short walks to the mail box on a beautiful day.

I used my son to show how a baby would fit in it. It is recommended for ages 6 months and up. He loved riding in it for a short time around the block and loves it a ton now that he is over a year old.
You can check out the Maxi-Cosi Kaia HERE. The stroller I have seen range in price. The average is about $200. That is not bad for this beauty. Once you see it in person, It’s so much nicer and really is worth every penny. I am a believer in quality children products. You get what you pay for. With this awesome stroller you get that and more. I would recommend it if you are looking for a stroller such as this, it’s worth every penny.

I’m not very familiar with this stroller. Thank you for the review.

  3. I really like your review! thank you! I just wish the canopy would be larger. It’s really small and doesn’t provide much coverage. Other than that, it’s a great stroller that I would recommend. ~Susan

  4. That’s beautiful. I like that stroller
