Orbit came out with a great line for kids! Yes kids gum. It is actually a really great idea I think. Maybe not for my 3 year old without me watching her but for my 5 year old,. She is always asking me for a piece of my gum. I am like no, your crazy! Well now I can give her a piece and know its helping in a little way!
The Orbit for kids gum is sugar free and ADA approved. IT helps protect teeth by stimulating saliva flow, neutralizing plaque acids, and helping to keep teeth clean. It works great if you let them eat chew on a piece for 20 minutes after eating or during the times they can not go and brush their teeth! My kids all started going to the dentist when they were 2 years old. Everything went fine for the first two kids. Our youngest daughter has special needs that require her to be sedated during procedures so its a little more complicated.

My daughter’s first time at the dentist was a little scary for her, she’s just super shy around strangers. She warmed up to him fairly quick and the rest of the appointment was great!

First appointment was… crazy. Both kids hated it! Mainly because they weren’t allowed to brush their own teeth.

It has been a few years since my 6 year olds first appt, but he had been going with his brothers dentist appt for years so it was really no big deal for him. It went pretty smooth.
