Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is not a sponsored post in anyway. All opinions and thoughts are mine.

I love chocolate chip cookies but hate the googling for a recipes every time I wanna make them. I am not talking out the box or bag cookies. I like to make mine with flour, sugar, you know all the good stuff. Any reason to use my kitchen aid in the hopes of it breaking to then buying a new colorful one. Those darns things just won’t break. It’s been passed down for years and now I have it. I do love it and it makes a difference in baking for me. Well I use the Nestle Toll House recipe right on the back of the chocolate chips. This recipe never fails me.

Well I made chocolate chip cookies but spooned the cookies into a cupcake pan instead of a flat sheet. This is how they came out. They make great gifts for the holidays. You can easily stack them and create a whole different gift. I can also assure you they taste amazing, especially with a nice glass of milk.

For me this is important. Some simple steps to not mess up your cookies! Follow Directions(Nestle Toll House I suggest), Keep the flour and wet stuff separate until its time to combine. I use to just throw it all together.(why not right, thats how it ends up) Do not do that!
Mix the awesome wet stuff until it is creamy. This is my favorite part.I love scrapping the sides and trying to get it as clean as I can.
This is am important tool. If you don’t have one, I suggest you get one. They make it so much easier and your cookies turn out and look perfect almost every time!
The thing I love about living in Lancaster, Pa is all the farms. Such a great benefit. Local free range chickens, cheap eggs that are great and super good. Fresh home grown produce and also the best milk ever! (well to me) Really also some amazing Amish farmers that offer amazing deals on eggs and milk.
Look at these eggs, almost to pretty to eat. I said ALMOST!
I use my awesome mini cookie scooper to put the perfect size into each cupcake spot.
All in all at the end you get these amazing cookies! They taste as good as they look too. I used white chocolate and milk chocolate.
Keep up to date by following on Facebook and Twitter. Always have something new up my sleeve.

My son’s favorite cookie is chocolate chip and my fiance and I like them too. I never thought of baking them in a muffin tin, but I like how thick they are and they would be all the same size too. I’m going to have to try this. I also have a KitchenAid mixer that was my moms and my dad gave it to her in the 1960’s and it still works really good. They NEVER break!!

  8. I love that its a cross between a cookie and muffin. I think these are going to put on some poundage for me. To tasty looking not to try. I will make these probably today, thanks

What a clever idea putting the cookies into the muffin tin, it would never have occurred to me. I love Toll House Cookies just like you do. I will have to try the muffin tin trick, so ingenious…
