It getting to be that time of year again! When we break open those windows and start doing spring stuff!! Nice weather is coming, or so I keep telling myself! One treat I love during summer is my coffee bu hot coffee is just, well to hot! So I lean toward drinking ice coffee during hotter days. I always find that my coffee is watered down and quickly too. Well Here is a simple LIFE HACK, that can save you from watered down coffee.

All you need is to pre-make your favorite coffee just how you like it. You can do what I did. I love Starbucks but with 3 kids do not have the time to drive there all the time and wait with the morning rush of latte orders. They now sell Latte drinks pre-made at the grocery store. They also sell already made ice coffee too- So no need to make your own unless you want too. All you do if pick out your favorite coffee and pour it into an ice cube tray. I used Starbucks Vanilla Latte. I let the ice cubes freeze for a few hours. once they are good and frozen, pops some out as needed and add to your glass of poured chilled Latte. It keeps it cold without watering it down. Toss them into a tumbler for on the go and have ice coffee that will not only stay cold but replenish and keep giving you that same amazing, coffee loving flavor.

Remember you need a ice cube tray and favorite coffee! Freeze it- Add ice cubes to a cup- Pour chilled coffee over it and enjoy for some time!

What a great idea. I know my dil will love this!

  2. I find iced hot coffee to be bitter.
An iced coffee syrup (double strength coffee liquid) can be made by soaking 1/2 cup of coffee grounds in 20 ounces of water in the refrigerator overnight. I put the grounds & water in a glass jar, soak it, strain it, add milk, vanilla & sugar for a fast and easy cold coffee.
Ice cubes made from premade coffee not only keep my iced coffee perfectly balanced but can be put in the blender for one of those expensive frosty treats, with whipped cream & chocolate syrup on top, of course.
