So this year I have a first grader and she is in for a full day! I also have one in half days but sometimes stays for lunch. My job to keep them interested in their food and eating it. The school doesn’t really offer the best options for my kids. I know they won’t eat half the lunch they get. Plus if we pack they have just a little more time to eat. So my goal is figuring how to pack as many different things in these awesome bento lunch boxes! These are from Bentology and I love them. They are versatile, cute, washable, reusable, and practical. Plus they come with super cute forks and spoons.

So this year I have found so many ideas online. Today we made some peanut butter and fluff roll up bites. The sides include strawberries with fluff dip, mini gold fish, some farm fresh veggies, and of course a Yummy Snack Bar. It’s more then enough to fill up my daughter and keep her focused till she gets home.

It’s been so fun to pack these. They really don’t need anymore then what fits in theses boxes. It’s pretty awesome. You can add carrots, tomatoes, a small salad with a side of ranch. Make some sandwich bites. You can even construct a work station for create you on sandwich. So many ideas and this is just a simple way to get the kids to school and a good lunch to keep them focused the rest of the day.

I know when I am hungry I don’t pay attention. Make the best healthy choices you can for lunch packing. Also make choices you know your kid loves! Come lunch time they will thank you for thinking of them and maybe throwing in a little special snack.
