Boobs and Oversized Shirts- The Battle!

All opinions in this post are mine and mine alone. I received nothing for this post.

Let me start by saying I am not the most confident person, never have been. I feel as though I am huge now compared to when I was like 19. If  I could go back in time and slap myself silly for thinking back then that I was fat or whatever I thought then. I so would! After kids its hard to find your groove again. Also I gained hips and huge boobs! So lots of people say I have curves and they are all in the right place. Well I hate them. Maybe I just don’t know how to dress myself. Maybe they don’t even make clothes for me. Clothes that would be comfortable for curvy girls, but not to skank like I could wear to my kids school and also not like “mom” jeans. I am young and still wanna look fashionable.

Well I think yoga pants are so cute and I am so jealous of the girls that wear them, I just can’t. Sure I may own some but do I wear them out and about, not really. Because my butt is big and the top tight band just makes my belly look like a doughnut shop. So I started buying high wasted jeans. One reason because The suck it in without extra clothing. They actually fit me at my waste and I can wear a smaller size compared to wearing them low rise. Plus my butt crack isn’t ever hanging out. So I am grateful they are back in. But these crop tops and oversized shirts are just a struggle.

Can you see the difference!

Can you see the difference!

Sure I could wear a crop top but I have this I had 3 kids and not super flat belly. Also I am still some how paying the same amount of money for a half of shirt as I was paying for a whole shirt. Don’t get me wrong, I think some crop tops are super cute and they look really good on some girls but I am not one. Also ok now we have oversized shirts. Yes, ladies these shirts are calling our name. So comfy and we can fit a small or medium and it still be oversized. Well The only thing I hate are boobs. They are just in the way. I love these loose shirts and some girls look super fab in them. I try to wear them sure because I’d rather wear those then a crop top. But now I have this tent problem. My boobs are so big that the shirt just makes me twice as big and hides all those curves. While I am not a huge fan of ALL my curves, I think some are good. From the side view. I have a tent. The shirt goes to end of boobs and drops off to the Grand Canyon.

From the front sure it looks alright but where are my hips hiding? Do I even still have hips? While I am all for covering up and being modest, I sometimes like to wear a V neck shirt or a shirt that somewhat isn’t up to my neck. Those just don’t work either for me. Again huge boobs looking even more huge. yes I got big boobs and some girls are paying for that. Mine just make me feel bigger then I am and I hate it. I couldn’t wear some stuff in high school because cleavage would just be hanging out. Now I still wore it because back then what did I know. HA!

If someone can help me find some os the best waist cinchers! LOL

So in my final defense of this rant. I don’t care! While I am working on myself finally. I also just don’t give a damn anymore. So I will wear those over sized shirts and somehow some days look damn good doing so. While I won’t be planning to buy a crop top soon. If it ever happens  I will learn to rock that too. So whatever your body type or clothing likes. Where what you feel good in because you can!  Whatever! Just be you.

O If you ever see boobs. After breastfeeding 3 kids…. I also DO NOT CARE if some cleavage is out. That is one thing about these big boobs I can flaunt. Why not. So if boobs offend you in anyway as in cleavage or breastfeeding.  Maybe my Instagram isn’t for you.

  1. Ugh girl! I feel your pain. I have never had kids, however I have boobs. And a butt. There are shirts out there for us.. but I don’t know where they are. I have no clue how to dress myself either. I’m a hoodie and jeans type of girl. Hoodies hide boobs. Lol. Something I’ve been doing the past 5 years is putting on my regular bra and then I put a sports bra on over it. Not all sports bras work, there’s a brand that I buy at Walmart. It goes straight across your boobs and your back, no v or curved shape. When I combine my regular bra and the sports bra, it sucks them in and I can wear some different shirts. It’s a pain, but it does work lol.

Also, it is your body.. so don’t care what others say. Where what makes you feel comfortable. I do have to note, with all the pictures I’ve seen of you, you always look gorgeous!

  2. I can relate to that shirt thing and I don’t even have that big of boobs. (38C ish) I hate when they just hang off my boobs and go straight down. Hate. That. Somewhere there has to be a designer that knows how to design a shirt that doesn’t do that. I have hips too, and a belly. Cause I’ve had 3 kids, 3 abdominal surgeries, I’m 55, I love to eat and hate to exercise. I wear what I’m comfy in and if the rest of the world doesn’t like the way I look they can stuff it.

My daughter can also totally relate, she’s a 36 G I think. Makes it really hard to find clothes that fit and still look like a 20 year old wants to wear them. Also makes her bras really expensive. We’ve found a great place here in town. The quality is great.

I’ve been following your posts for a while now. Everyone finds faults about themselves. I was surprised when I read this blog, because I think you are perfect the way you are. I was looking forward to your wedding photos. I am happy to see your blog showing up in my email. Continued success with everything.

It’s taken me a while to figure this out after having my second baby and going from a large, fun DD into “OMG how do you dress these H-J,” but your figure only looks that way to you. In certain shots/angles your clothes will drape in a way that’s unflattering, but when are you ever really standing still? Your clothes are fluid and no matter how you dress it your figure underneath is still seen. You look great in these outfits, truly. This style is flattering and sophisticated.
