The holiday season is in full swing and traffic has really gotten incredibly crazy. Sometimes when I drive home I see several accidents “almost” happen. I also see cars stuck on the side of the road with their       4-ways on or changing a tire. I am 90% of the time driving alone with my 3 kids. I can tell you I could probably figure how to change a tire but It would be after the “OH MY GOSH this happened feelings were gone” Also I’d have to get out of the car and hope my 3 kids didn’t spontaneously combust from fighting with each other. This would also happen if this was my last resort option because me changing a tire would be a comical thing. Wait till you hear what State Farm does!

State Farm and state transportation agencies are teamed up to promote highway safety through the Assist Patrol Program. Each fleet of vehicles patrols the highway looking for accidents, dangerous debris and stranded motorists to provide assistance and help drivers get safely on their way. When the unexpected happens, these State Farm sponsored patrols help keep our roads safer. The limited roadside assistance may include services like a tire change, fixing minor mechanical problems or removing debris from the road. These services are meant to assist all drivers on designated public highways.

State Far sponsored patrols run in 14 states with 18 total sponsored patrols  and helps over 700K consumers each year. To learn more about the program and what areas it services, visit State Farm Safety Patrol.

The best thing about this service is that it is free. How thankful I would be for a State Farm sponsored truck to pull up and help me out for free; that sure would turn a bad moment into a good one. It could possibly also turn someone’s worst day into thinking it wasn’t really that bad. If you already have State Farm, you can ask your agent about State Farm Emergency Roadside Service. Want to know how to take advantage of this free service? Start by reading out the amazing testimonials and seeing if they service your state and area. Click here

It’s never until you need them that you care to find them! So do it ahead of time and be prepared. Don’t get stranded this holiday either.

Prepare an Emergency Roadside Kit:
