Elantra – I got to test drive this car for a week. All opinions are mine and mine alone.
There are lots of choices out there when it comes to compact vehicles. There is always something that is added or restyled and the standard features list just keeps growing and growing. I was very impressed with the Hyundai Elantra when I was able to go on a test drive of it. The features that you get for the money is an awesome deal.
I used the Elantra for lots of everyday tasks when I had it for a test drive. I took my daughter to school and she absolutely loved the red color of the paint. We also took it grocery shopping to test out the trunk space. When I opened the trunk for the first time, I was amazed by the amount of cargo space (14.8 cubic feet). We did our normal grocery shopping and there was plenty of room in the trunk. There were lots of features that I loved when it came to the Elantra and there are others available on the Sport line as well. It was the perfect car for all the running around I had to do that week.
The stylish 17-inch alloy wheels, aluminum pedals, and LED tail lamps were just a few of the features that made the Elantra stand out from other sedans. There’s even an optional rear lip spoiler to add an extra sporty feel. The chrome accents also made it look just that much more sporty in appearance. You will definitely get noticed in the Hyundai Elantra with the smooth, flowing lines that give it its unique style.
Hyundai’s Infotainment System is one that is super easy to navigate, too. You definitely don’t want to spend half of your time in the car trying to figure out what this button does and what that one might do.(I do this a lot with every car! ) You shouldn’t be intimidated by something that is meant to be there to help you. Hyundai has designed a beautiful navigation system that is a 7 inch touchscreen that is bright and responsive. It’s easy to figure out, so no worries to the people like me that can be given directions and then just reply, ” Yea I’m gonna GPS it”.
Overall, the interior of the Hyundai Elantra is roomy, too. We had room for three kids in the back. The front legroom was great compared to other sedans that I have been in. When driving the Elantra around town, I was pretty impressed that my gas mileage was around 28. This is better than my other car but by far not the best. Regardless, the technology and value on the Elantra is outstanding. Hyundai has made a vehicle that seems to be worth more from the looks of it then the price sticker states. This is the ultimate win in my book.
