All opinions are mine and mine alone.

Some of our earliest recollections about life are preserved as memories. From our early stages of life, memories are an important part of our day to day and as we get older memories become even more important. We remember special holidays, family gatherings, special friendships we’ve cherished over the years, and can pinpoint some of our favorite memories at the drop of a hat. One of my favorite ways to recall special dates is through pictures. I have so many pictures stored on my phone, memory cards, my computer and even in boxes from when I’ve sent them off to be printed. Photographs are especially important to me because as we get older our memories tend to get a little blurry and photographs are the perfect way to keep a memory alive for years to come.

It seems like these days the people who are most into preserving memories that they’ll cherish, outside of being parents, are teenagers and young adults. You see it on social media all the time, photo after photo of them living their lives to the fullest and capturing memories of themselves with their closest friends. This is especially true about high school students. On a large level they realize that all too soon their school lives and their adventures with their schoolmates will come to a close, so they document as much of their lives as they can during this time.

When graduation comes along many graduates will have an endless supply of photos that they’ll keep and recall fondly in years to come, especially when they go off to college and start the next chapter of their lives with new friends.

Shutterfly is a great place to start if you’re looking for the perfect grad gifts for your soon-to-be high school graduate. They boast picture printing that is superb in quality as well as many different personalized gifts to choose from. One of my favorites services offered on the Shutterfly website is their Make My Book option. It’s so neat and perfect for anyone graduating and going off to college this summer! The Make My Book service is easy to use and has 3 simple steps to follow in the creation process.

(We also wrote a little note on it to make the college dweller know we’ll miss her! )

1. Choose a book and style. Then you can start uploading your photos or albums from your computer or even your Shutterfly account. Shutterfly will then create the book for you and even curates your best photos.

2. Receive your book. In just 3 business days, Shutterfly will add your custom designed book to your account and email you when it’s ready.

3. View and order your book. You can order as is or personalize to suit your needs. The one time service fee of $9.99 is applied when you order your finished book.

Three incredibly easy steps and your gift is ready to be presented to your loved one or graduate. You can’t go wrong if you’re looking for the perfect gift to give to your departing graduate and the Shutterfly Make My Book is a perfect way for them to take their memories of their 4 years in high school along with them for the ride.
