As a parent, you’re well aware that birthday parties for your little ones should be as memorable an event as you can make them – which doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. Creativity ranks more highly than money, anyway; especially if you always remember the one unchangeable rule: feed the sweet tooth! Cakes and candies are necessary starting points, and SweetServices.com has got you covered in these areas.

Out and About Activities

Activities that require you and the kids to get out of the house will never grow old. With the explosion of the Pokémon Go app, treasure hunts have never been more popular. If you can find the park nearby, that’s an excellent place to go and make your personal playground for the day. Bring S’mores, chili hotdogs, and all the other elements of a daytime or evening campground. Heck; why not even bring tents and make a night of it. The many colorful varieties of gummy bears make them an excellent treat to bring along. Furthermore, as they are relatively inexpensive by the pound, you can use them for decoration – all the colors of the rainbow are well represented in a medium-sized batch.

Scavenger Hunts Never Get Old

And, of course, the timeless scavenger is an option. Using the assortment of tootsie rolls, Now & Later candies, lollipops and bubblegum that are sold in bulk by Sweet Services, make little baskets filled with these treats in height and strategically in a large backyard. You can also do the same thing at a nearby small park that isn’t too populated. Scavenger hunts are amenable to a lot of variety, so you can mix-and-match different options to make the best birthday party yet.

Interactive Games (With the Option to be Competitive)

One look at the website Care.com shows a wealth of games that your birthday child and friends can play. Bubble Wrap Race is a personal favorite; my daughter and friends had an absolute blast playing this one on her birthday earlier this year. It consists of laying out bubble-wrap and having the kids run across span without breaking or bursting a bubble. Of course all shoes should be removed – otherwise no one would win! Feel free to toss in varieties of this game to make it more competitive. Dont forget to bring a great birthday gift for a little one from bonjour baby baskets.

Themed Birthday Cakes and Party

Themed birthday parties tend to be a home run hit for the younger crew. In fact, even teenagers can be delighted by the. Coming up with ideas is as easy hair is simply paying attention to popular media. You can have an Angry Birds cake with wallpapers and figures scattered about, or swap this out for Pokémon – given the current huge popularity of the Pokémon Go game. With the recent spate of Marvel and DC superhero movies, you can’t go wrong with the superhero theme.

The great thing about birthday parties for kids is that you can mix-and-match several of the above ideas and even incorporate some of your own into the mix. Make it a day to remember – with any luck your kid will be so petered out by the end of it, that sleep good the sand like a springtime drizzle at days’ end.
