Quick And Easy Chili

I did not receive anything for this post. All opinions are mine and mine alone.

chili

It’s the time of year where I am craving some good home made food. I love some chili when I am chilly! Yes there are crock pot recipes and a million out there. I like to think mine is super easy and doesn’t lack that homemade taste you are so craving. This is my go to whenever I want chili. I usually have it cooked in 30 minutes or less!

Do you top your chili with cheese, crackers, bread? Well I love putting my chili on top of some rice, mixing it around, sprinkle some cheese and top with a little salt.  I am getting hungry just thinking of it!

You Need

Big Can of Dark Red Kidney Beans

2lbs of Hamburger

Big can of diced tomatoes

1 small can of diced tomatoes

1 medium sized onion cut up

1 packet or Original McCormick Chili Seasoning

First I start by adding the kidney beans and diced tomatoes to a pot on the stove. Turn it to low or simmer.

Start by  putting your hamburger in a pan and start to brown. Then add in your cut up onion. Cook until the meat is all brown. Then add in your McCormick seasoning packet and mix around good. Now dump your meat into you pot. Stir everything around until well combined. Let simmer for at least 10 minutes or longer.

I like to start to cook my rice and get that ready. Once my rice is done. You can eat your chili. Top with your favorites or just plain. It’s just as good if not better the next day. Grab these items and get to cooking. It’s easy and quick.

  35. OMG! I’ve been really craving this lately! Thanks so very much for the delicious recipe on Quick And Easy Chili! Whenever I make my chili, I make it a little different, however, it does take longer than your recipe! I love your recipe! It’s super easy and doesn’t take as long as mine! I brown my ground meat and add in onion and green peppers, a couple cans of kidney beans and tomato paste. Then I sprinkle in Chili Powder and Celery salt in with the cooking chili. I keep tasting it until I am happy with the flavoring. I let it simmer for a while and then we use either crackers or Fritos to eat our chili. If I have cheese in the fridge, we generally will put that on top as well! I’m going to try your way the next time I make it! I don’t have any ground beef right now and have to wait a bit before I can go to the store to get some. Thanks so very much for sharing your delicious recipe with all of us! I have been craving chili for a while now! Thanks again! I honestly truly do appreciate it! Michele 🙂
