2015! I have said I’d do many things this year! Let’s Just say with a wedding to plan, kids in school, toddler at home, blogging, it is getting off to a slow start! Hey, it’s only January! One thing I did start to do is go some days with less. Everyone says less is more right?
I have tried to go nude more so these days! I mean on my face. I want to feel pretty without make up or maybe just a few things. It’s not always about the make up either. A great pair of shoes is needed to make your feel like that confident sexy self you are. When I get new shoes, I strut in them like they were Cinderella’s. Off topic but who is excited about that movie coming out in March?! (Raises hands and jumps)
Another thing I love are necklaces. You can surely wear that plain white T and toss a necklace on and you are styling. Who said fashion had to always be uncomfortable, not me. Another thing I love to do is paint my nails. I know some of you are thinking, HA, not with my kids. Well I have three kids and I find time. I love to pick a bright and fun shade and slap it on my nails quick. I also use some quick dry top coat because who has time to watch paint dry. I also love Laura Mercier Mascara it gives my eye lashes some extension and curl all while looking like my natural eye lashes. Am I wearing Mascara or are my eye lashes just this dang good looking. A Girl never tells.
With this little look I created as pictured is more of my favorites. I love to wear my Tieks. They make me feel light and airy. Like little marshmallows wrap around my feet. Ok, maybe not like that but they don’t hurt and they are comfy. Some of you may look at their price tag and be discouraged. I promise if you ever wanted a pair of shoes you could wear to dinner and to the park, these are it. Take them to the boardwalk if you want too. They are stylish, comfy, and easy to travel with. When you get them in the mail, think of it as opening up a Tiffany box. It calls for a sit down, let’s do this slow and right unboxing. The packing is so reusable too an I love that.
I kept the box and store my shoes in it when I am not wearing them. You can also use it hide away make up, brushes, anything. Tieks also is a very personal company. They send out a hand written note back to you. The company isn’t HUGE. So they are real people writing to you saying thanks. One you get one pair, you will never go back. It will start to be an addiction. Well in the fact that you will love them and want more. The great thing about these ballet flats are they are for just about every different kind of foot out there. The shoe will wear in and take on a shape of your foot. So just like us girls that are all different sizes and one size does not fit all. These shoes are made for anyone who loves a great ballet flat.
I encourage you to check them out. They are amazing. I hated ballet flats till I tried these babies out. I still don’t like ballet flats, I feel I can’t wear them. Tieks ballet flats I can wear and I feel like a million bucks. It’s not because cost a little more then normal shoes but because I feel fabulous in them and my feet thank me!
