Baked Pears

I did not receive anything for this post. All opinions are mine and mine alone.

I have been trying to find some new snacks or breakfast ideas for the kids and me. I can tell you I am sick of cereal. I didn’t realize just how easy this recipe was. I can tell you it feels like your eating a treat. It’s really easy and you can eat it plain or top it with some honey and fruit. Maybe add a dash of B.K. Creamery single cream. Add a heaping spoonful of yogurt. So many options and all taste incredible.

You need

PEARS

Honey

Nielsen Massey Pure Vanilla Powder

Vanilla Yogurt

Fruit

Nuts

First you want to get your pears.

Now cut them in half.

Now you can grab a spoon and scoop out the middle where the seeds are and cut a small piece off the back so it sits flat on the cooking pan.

pear3

Now you can sprinkle it with some of the vanilla powder. Just a dusting.

pear4

Now drizzle it with some honey. I love using my Tupelo raw honey from Savannah Bee Company.

Bake at 350 degree F. For 25 minutes. I also put my oven on a low broil for additional 3 minutes.

Let cool a little and transfer to a plate.

Now you can top it with some B.K. Creamery cream and some nuts.

OR top it with some yogurt and fresh fruit. Grab your spoon or fork and dig in. It’s going to make just about every good taste bud on your tongue stand up!
