Are you in the market for a remodel or just want a fresh spin on something. Maykke has so many options to explore. Some remodels I have recently seen have ranged from a chic modern design to a lived in country design. Depending on the day, I love them all.
Some more modern designs are sleek lines and lots of solid clean colors. Freestanding Bathtubs are a must have in this design for me. For a more of a homey country look, I love clawfoot bathtubs as an addition. When you do something thats more homey I always picture flowers and rustic. Also the bathroom has to smell of something that reminds you of home. Maybe even try a plug in or scented wax melt. My dream bathroom would also have shiplap on the walls. You can even do a free standing bathtub in here and add in a little t.v. on the wall. We can’t forget the wine coaster either for those of us that like a drink with some bubbles. (No judgement)
Another addition to remodeling a bathroom is finding the perfect bathroom vanities . Maybe you have to share with someone special. So maybe you want a double vanity. I say go for it if you have the space. You can also get a really nice single vanity and have all your guests wishing it was in their bathroom.
Another tip for remodeling is to play around with different styles. Sometimes a modern tub goes well with a country look. Sometimes you pick the tub first and remodel everything else around that.
