YesVideo Restores Treasured #RememberWhen Videos Tapes To DVD

laptop&Mobile_LifestyleImage

With the Holidays here already we are breaking out the video cameras and dusting off those old (uhh, what are they called?) Oh, yea VCRs! Well Growing up we had many fond and funny memories that I often wished we could find an easier way to share them with my kids now. Frankly, holding onto that bulky annoying VCR was a pain. YesVideo created a way for us to transfer from our old VCR tapes to a DVD and online streaming. Amazing right! We can now share over the internet or on the DVD player. One less way for our kids to realize how old we actually are.

We had a time when I was younger sneaking out to the Christmas tree to open a present. My mom taped me opening the gift and re-wrapping it very badly only to meet me back in my room with the video recorder in hand. She had told me I was caught and Santa knows now. I was so sad but laughing up a storm. I totally thought I got away with it. It’s funny to show my kids now how mommy looked back then. It’s almost hard for them to believe I was little like them. That took a lot of explaining.

There are two ways to save your families memories. First one is to bring all tapes and reels to the nearest Walmart. You can also order online and send your tapes or reels directly to YesVideo. You can do just about everything. You can do Tape to DVD, Film to DVD, Slides or prints to DVD, and also digital videos and photos to DVD or Blu-ray. With prices starting at $19.96 you can’t beat that for a life time of memories brought back to life and being able to be shared with everyone.

  1. I have seen this at Walmart and have been wanting to check it out. I have a bunch of VHS tapes of me and my grandmother and grandpa (My oldest was only 4 months old when my popa passed away and 18 months old when my granny passed away). They loved them dearly and I want to share them with my girls and have been wanting to get it transferred to DVD for a long time. I think this will be my Christmas present this year.

  2. What a great idea to keep those memories from getting lost!

  3. I LOVE Yes Video! I learned about their service about a year and a half ago when they sponsored TypeACon. It’s great to be able to see and share video that I thought was relegated to living on a VHS tape!

  4. This would be great for my mom and hubbys mother who still have VCR tapes. We have none in our home but they sure do. This is great for all those old recordings they have.
