Although the Holidays are behind us the savings still remain! Walmart Family Mobile offers the best wireless plans available and the discounts last all year long. Walmart Family Mobile’s no contract phones make wonderful gift ideas. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Before Christmas arrived I searched for a great gift for my mother-in-law. We recently gave birth to her first grandson and she’s dying to show him off! Unfortunately, she broke her phone and I thought a replacement would be a great idea. I wanted a device with a cheap wireless plan. She barely uses her mobile phone and didn’t need lots of bells and whistles. As usual, Walmart came to the rescue. The wireless plan was really inexpensive. But it includes all the features you’d expect, like text messaging and a camera. It’s more than enough for her. Needless to say the gift was a hit! When I revealed the unlimited plans priced are merely about $30, her jaw dropped in disbelief. The new phone has enabled her to experience all the baby moments we share and she gets to see them first before our Facebook friends and family. That’s a plus.

The best part of all was her reaction. When she realized what we’d done she was thrilled. Loads of hugs as you might expect but surprise as well. She assumed the phone was a great expense but learned that was not the case. Of course we threw in another treat and gave her three months of free phone service. She laughed and gave us a playful punch in the arm, and a “nuh huh.” Still amazed we’d done it all.

My mother-in-law couldn’t hide her excitement. She felt relieved about the new phone and the $70 dollar savings! The old phone cost $100 dollars per month but the new one is less expensive and much better. It’s definitely the best $30 dollars that we’ve spent thus far. The added benefit of having three months of service paid on her behalf was definitely the icing on top. The cheap wireless service doesn’t strain your pocket and it comes from a name you can trust. Thanks to Walmart Family Mobile we were able to provide the perfect gift for my mother-in-law.
