Are you loving this new warmer weather? I know I am. Everyday as I sit in my cold house. I am so thankful for this time of year. I often wonder why I didn’t or haven’t moved somewhere warm all year. I am crazy, haha! Well father’s day is just around the corner and I know “dad” in our house loves to do things outdoors. Especially work around the house or his truck. I never take a warm summer day for granted anymore. So we find ways to make those extra hot days a little more enjoyable. My girls and I have thought up a great treat to serve dad while he is outside. While the baby can’t help make it for his daddy, he can sure share with his dad! We created a great summer treat with TWIX Bites.
TWIX Bites are amazing. They are the perfect size for just one bite that sweet tooth is craving. They are also convenient for things such as recipes. We though what’s the best thing on a summer day. All the kids without a second yelled, ICE CREAM! They practically screamed it. They bugged me for some. Well TWIX Bites in an ice cream? Why not! TWIX Bites can easily be found at Walmart in the center displays or the candy isle.
We created a chocolate pop with TWIX in it!! #Yum So while dad is out enjoying that hot day doing work around the house, yard, or his truck. He can sit down and take a break. Even if that break is sitting down sharing bites of his pop with his son or laughing at the crazy things the girls say, he will always be thankful for being a dad. This just adds a little awesome on top of that creating moments for a lifetime with the family. Besides lemonade is sooo last year!
Ingredients
2 cups of Chocolate Milk
1 cup of TWIX Bites (cut up)
Popsicle mold
First you want to get your TWIX bites and cut them up into smaller pieces. I did this with a cutting board and sharp knife. You can do this a blender or food processor too. After you cut up about a cup of TWIX Bites, set them aside.
Now Grab your pop mold and put an even amount into each spot. I did spoon by spoon until I was all out of chopped up TWIX. I also used a container that made 6 pops. So variations may way.
For the chocolate milk, I buy from my local farmers market. It is extra creamy and just amazing. After you add in your Chopped up TWIX Bites in your mold, Pour the chocolate milk into molds but do not fill to the tippie top, leave just a little bit of space. Then place in freezer over night and enjoy the next day. Don’t forget to share with dad on his special day as well.

What an easy way for the whole family to enjoy a sweet treat this summer! I’m loving that you don’t have to unwrap these TWIX Bites before using in a recipe! #client
mmm Every time I look at your pictures of recipes and food my stomach starts roaring.
Such a great recipe I’m going to try I and feed it to my husband 🙂
This looks like it’d be a lot of fun for when the nieves and nephews are over (and for myself, too)! I think I might just start keeping a few of these on hand, from now on!
Those look pretty amazing, especially since I love Twix.
