I have two girls as some of you may know. They are a big part of my world right?! Well every single day they are my all day! Some of those days I wish I could have them like just go away for 5 minutes. At least be quiet! Well being inside the house during winter is frustrating for kids. They have nothing to do to keep active. So it’s a struggle finding things for them to do actively and not just sit down and watch t.v. or play board games, or sit at a table for a craft. It’s great and fun to do those things but once in a while you just have to have fun and run around.
One Step Ahead has sensory stepping stones. These are so super cool and different. You can really use your imagination o do just about whatever you want. A favorite in my house is don’t step on the carpet or the hot lava will get you. So we spread these all out in our basement with some pillows and try to make it all the way across without falling in the “lava”. The kids have a blast. I didn’t even realize how long they play this game, changing it up here and there. I use to play it as a kid and now mine are doing the same. We have so much fun as a family doing this, it’s just a blast.
