Looking for a cute and quirky Valentines treat? These will be sure to please. Did I mention they aren’t junk and sweets. There is a strawberry under it all. It is super easy and no chef skills required!
All you need is
Melting Chocolate( I used red for Valentine’s Day)
Fresh Strawberries
Candy Eyes (Got them from local craft store)-Also have at Target/Walmart
White Writing Icing
Paper Straws
Wax Paper
I thought the little green collar was a cute touch. So I just stuck my paper straw right in the middle of it. I did this for all the ones I was making and set aside on Wax paper. Then I got my chocolate and melted in the microwave for 15 seconds. I would then mix the chocolate around and put it back in for another 15 seconds. I did this until it was smooth. Then I got my strawberries and dunked them into the chocolate and set on the wax paper. before the chocolate hardens place your candy eye on the strawberry.
Then get your writing icing an make a little smile with a tooth. Put in fridge and let harden all the way. Then take out and enjoy or give to your little monster.!
I am glad you left the stems on the berries…looks so cute!!!
These are adorable, would make an excellent Vday favor for the kids!

I am going to make these with my grandkids! They love to help grandma around the kitchen & eat!!
PLUS their moms won’t be that upset when I give them these for snacks, because there is fruit in them!!
These are adorable. I am going to take the ingredients for my grandson’s class to make.
