The kids and I love talking with friends and family. Not everyone has time to chat on the phone anymore either. Intel’s Pocket Avatar is a really fun way to message your friends. You can take a short video, of a fun character of choice. The avatar follows your head and mouth movement. You can even change up the characters voice a little bit.
This app is incredibly funny. We had so much fun playing with it and see what we could do. It was also funny to see people get our message and respond.The kids love getting messages back. They crack up. With these kids in my home, nothing is ever just a plain Hi! We love sending this to my fiance while he’s at work. During his breaks he gets these ridiculous, funny messages. I must say if it’ not a good day for him, it cheers him up for sure. How can you not laugh.
My oldest daughter bugs me everyday to send messages on the pocket avatar app. I have to explain we have to give people a break from our crazy once in a while. I can let my daughter make her own too because it’s so easy.

All you do is pick a fun avatar. They have several free ones but I love the nerd girl and cave woman. Then you just put your head in the little square at the top and talk. You can even play back your message until you get it perfect. This has been a really fun way to send messages to friends and family. It’s a free app so check it out and give it a try. You will be laughing by the end of your first message.
Even my son likes to get in the role of playing a character. IT turns out his messages never make sense but they make everyone crack up.

If you wanna make your own video. These are the simple steps you need to do!
1.) Download the Pocket Avatar HERE
2.) Pick a fun Avatar. They have many free avatars as well as ones you can buy. (The app is free)
3.) Click on camera icon at the bottom.
4.) Then click on the “select an avatar” and click the avatar you want that you downloaded.
5.) Start recording your message.
6.) Then when you get to the message play back. You can save it and/or share it on social media.
