Wine and Chocolate Tasting In Hershey

Looking for something fun to do in February? Hershey every year has their own Chocolate Covered February. I must say they have something for everyone. They have mixology classes for couples, tastings paired with decedent treats for couples and friends, They also have smaller gatherings that are super casual and fun. Maybe you have kids, bring them along for a chocolate tour or perhaps dessert tasting. They have events that cost around $30 bucks a person or even events for free for the whole family.

Chocolate Covered February is awesome. I am so close and local to it in Hershey, Pa. I am sad I never knew of this a few years back. I recently went to the wine and chocolate pairings. It was my first time doing this and it was a blast. I brought my friend along and while we had lots of fun once the tasting started but also learned a few things.

They had their very own chef there to teach us how to to properly taste our wine and it was a huge eye opener. I actually thought to myself “wow maybe I am a bigger wine drinker then I thought”. While I liked some wines more then others it was really neat to try different varieties paired with amazing chocolate treats. The very last wine taste was our favorite. It was a mascato and so good.  The chef created the pairings himself and it was AWesome. IT was an experience I am looking forward to going to again next year. I recommend if you go to book a night in the hotel at Hershey. You won’t want to leave.

Once everyone got to the third wine tasting it was laughing and fun times after that. I also got to chat with some new people around our table. It was a blast and I suggest you check out the website and see what more is to come this month.
