Does anyone have a child that wets their bed still. Did you know that this is really common and at older ages as well. My daughter still has accidents. She has accidents more then not. She is just a really, really heavy sleeper. She is older now and spends nights over at her friends or her friends stay here. If she has an accident she is very embarrassed. We found GoodNites TruFit starter pack at our local CVS. We thought let’s try them.
They have been such a life saver for me and her. She can wear normal underwear to bed and still be protected. She also isn’t embarrassed at all to wear them around people if needed. It has also boosted her confidence in herself for trying to not wet the bed at night. Something about them she loves. She is going into first grade soon and is excited for all the sleep overs she may have. She has stopped worrying and be scared of going to bed because of the fear of wetting it.
If she does have an accident. We throw away the pad part and toss the underwear in the laundry. They have really been great for me because it’s less sheets to wash. It’s also helped with her not being afraid to come tell us she did have an accident. She tells me and we clean up. The TruFit Goodnites also fit her incredibly well.
You can also clearly see how they are just like normal underwear but some hidden protection inside. My daughter is slowly learning how to wake up but she tries so hard. This is the best way to make those accidents seem small and not to discourage her. It takes time sometimes and these help us tremendously.
