Chicco sent a carseat for me to try out! All opinions are mine and mine alone.
Chicco Nextfit
There are many car seat choices out there and so when you need to choose one, you turn to someone that has used one for advice. The Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat is one that I fully recommend because it is one of the easiest convertible car seats to install with accuracy. It also fits in a wide span of different vehicles and so you won’t have to worry.
The Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat comes in four different colors which include Intrigue, Juno, Rose, and Studio. You will find one of these suits your and your little one’s personality. I love that the rear-design on this seat is from 5-40 pound, so that you can keep them rear-facing for longer. You can turn it around to front-facing as early as 22 pounds, but I definitely recommend keeping them rear-facing for as long as you can. The front-facing option is for up to 65 pounds.
This seat will stay with you from the birth of your child all the way until when they reach preschool age or beyond depending on their size and weight growth. The Chicco NextFit Convertible Seat has a ReclineSecure 9-position Leveling System that will adjust super easily with just one hand. This will let you make sure that the position is perfect for the vehicle that you are installing it in.
The two RideRight bubble levels will tell you whether or not you have the seat at the correct angle whether you are using it as front-facing or rear-facing. You will have no doubt whether or not your seat is installed correctly and with the SuperCinch Latch tightener with force-multiplying technology you will have undoubtedly the most snug fit possible. The slide path also makes it super easy to reposition the latch strap when you are transitioning your little one from rear to front facing.
A snug fit is what we all want when we put our child into a seat. With the one-pull harness tightener, you can rest assured that you will get a secure fit that is quick to accomplish. I also love that the headrest has six positions of height that it can adjust to. Children grow like weeds and having some many options for the height of the seat is awesome. Your child will also feel super independent with their removable cup holder that can be placed on either side of the seat. There will be no more handing drinks back and forth to them when you are in the car. This takes away just one more distraction that little ones can cause when on the road.
The pricing on one of these seats is around $300. That may seem like a pretty penny, but with the quality of the seat and the fact that it fits from 5-65 pounds, you have about five years worth of use. Lesser quality seats will end up needing to be replaced in this time frame, so the investment in the Chicco NextFit Convertible Seat is definitely worth it!
