Santa Headquarters or Santa HQ will appear at 10 top Macerich malls starting Nov. 4th, 2015. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this interactive journey, it is put on by HGTV and is meant to spread holiday cheer to all ages. Mall guests will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus, explore Santa’s Observatory with Elf-Ray Vision, test the Naughty or Nice O’ Meter or star in your own holiday video by taking an Elfie selfie. Oh what fun that will be…
This immersion journey is only available in selected malls in which I will list further through this blog post. DIY network stars will also appear at specific locations, giving fans a chance to take photos and or autographs. Some of the stars will include Alison Victoria from Kitchen Crashers or Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri from America’s Most Desperate Kitchens. On November 7th, Danbury Fair is all bustling with action as Anthony and John make an appearance. Tysons Corner Center with play host to Alison Victoria on November 20th.
During the holiday season many homes come alive with great food and family get togethers. HGTV knows the rush and hustle of holiday shopping can sometimes become overwhelming. Santa HQ is a way for families to have fun while out shopping for seasonal gifts. There is a tablet provided for those that do not have their own device to take part in the Elf-Ray Vision interactive activity. Others who have their own devices can simply download the special seasonal app onto their device. You will be thrilled and enchanted by Santa HQ and its 2D and 3D digital scenes.
Santa’s sleigh has been modernized and is ready and waiting for a photo shoot at all of the malls listed below. There will also be an opportunity for you to win $10,000 in HGTV’s Spreading Holiday Cheer Sweepstakes, but you have to be there to enter.
