Board Games
Games can spark imagination and make sure that you get in some valuable family time. I have a few options that I want to share with you from brands such as Pictopia and Disney that are sure to do just that. From Star Wars to Snoopy to Hidden Picture games, there is something for all ages on this list.
Pictopia™ Star Wars Edition Family Trivia Game– Family game night will not be the same with this Star Wars inspired game. Star Wars Pictopia is exclusive only for Target and the goal is to prove whether or not you are a Padawan or Jedi Master as you test your knowledge with 1,000 questions that are Star Wars themed. The questions range from about the planets to villains and heroes. It is a game that is all about teamwork but it will get competitive. You will wager every time that you answer a question whether it is alone or with others. See if you have what it takes to prove that you are a Jedi Master.
Disney Imagicademy Storymation Studio – With this game you can get as creative as you want with the characters, backgrounds, clay and costume molds to make your movies worthy of Imadicademy. All you have to do is download the free and easy-to-use Storymation Studio Animation App and you will be the creator of your own animated creation that is inspired by all of the Disney films that you know and love. This game is rated for children three and older.
The Peanuts Movie Snoopy Flying Ace Game – Snoopy is one of our beloved Peanuts characters and he is back in this great game that is for ages four and up. Snoopy is always pursuing his nemesis the Red Baron and will take off in his Flying Ace to do just that. To play this game, you will flip cards and race each other to make the matches before Snoopy comes to a complete stop. This game is high action and tons of fun for the whole family.
Disney Pixar Good Dinosaur Roarin’ River Game – In this Disney Pixar game inspired by Good Dinosaur, you will be in a race against the rapids to get home. This is a team game and you will have to work together if you are going to help Arlo and his friends beat the river. You will travel through canyons, mountain forest and across the plains to help in this game of working together that is for ages four and up.
Eye Found It! Journey Through Time Hidden Picture Game– This game board is six feet long and you will travel from the past all the way to the future as a team of historians, scientists and adventurers. This hidden picture game allows you to learn about the different eras such as prehistoric and present day. You will need to make it to the end of the game board before the Timecraft runs out of feul in order to win. This game is also rated as for ages four and up.
Apple Pop Game – Apple Pop is all about removing the apples from the tree on the first try. if you can land the apple in the basket then you get extra points! Pop apples out of the tree. Win by collecting the most apples with great strategy and of course a lot of fun. This is an engaging game to teach little ones the art of focus as they try to pop out the apples and land them in the bucket. Strategy building is key and this game is rated for four years and up, so they will be building skills along with having fun.
All of these games are amazing builders of mental ability for little ones and will also allow parents or caregivers to bond with the children that they play the games with. Some of these games are challenging and your children may get frustrated, but that is just another lesson that these games can teach. Never give up even though there is a challenge set in front of you. Always strive for the end result. Whether they win or lose, your kids will be guaranteed to have fun with any and all of the games on this list.
