Increasing Your Brand’s Awareness Organically

Imagine driving in traffic. It’s a long commute of twenty miles between where you work and live. It would be a quick twenty minute jaunt, but the only way between these locations is through a traffic-choked turnpike that gets busy at just the wrong hour. You’ve tried zig-zagging through town, and sometimes that has worked; but most often it just ends up taking more time. Stoplights get busy too.

As you sit going five miles an hour amidst four lanes of traffic that’s progressing at a rate so slow it feels evil, you look to your right and see a painted vehicle with pictures of pets doing hilarious things, and some text inviting anyone who notices the paint job to donate a trifling sum to the local animal shelter.

Normally you wouldn’t, but the picture made you feel better, and you follow the link with your smartphone. Consider that this scenario is a real one, whether or not you personally have ever found yourself in it. Especially in Sacramento, where so much of life is done on the asphalt, ProWraps can be an astonishingly good means of marketing.

Consider Some Numbers

People live in cycles. We wake up, shower, brush our teeth, use the restroom, do some morning chores, have breakfast, listen to our favorite radio station on the way to work, and do a little light shopping before coming home for the evening. Our cycles will take us to different places on a regular basis, but we’ll usually come back round where we’ve been before.

Sacramento has a registered population just under 500,000 strong. Every one of those people will likely be in some proximity to you at some point during your regular cycle. Just think about it critically. How many people do you pass on your way to work in that twenty minute commute? If you pass ten cars a mile, that’s 200 cars one way on a twenty mile trip. It’s 400 total, if you come back the same direction and pass cars at the same rate.

Excluding any other driving whatsoever, you will pass 146,000 people a year at this rate, or about 29% of the population. That doesn’t count the time you drive to activities which brook relaxation, or go somewhere new to explore.

Getting a professionally done paint-wrap on your vehicle (the kind that can print an image on the outside of your company car as detailed and accurately as your home printer can represent a pic from the ‘net on a piece of paper) is a great way to be noticed by everyone in Sacramento inside four years.

In fact, at most traffic stops you can count more than ten vehicles. The likelihood is you’ll be seen by the vast majority of the population within a year’s time due to cycles alone. But all that isn’t even to mention exposure you’ll get from out-of-town people.

Sacramento is a nationally-known city, and from industry to tourists, there are always thousands traveling its streets who’ve never been there in their lives. Depending on what your business is, you could end up having new customers from national demographics simply by driving to and from work every day.

The Passive Income Generator

A PIG is a Passive Income Generator. Without active participation on your part, it makes money. Getting a paint wrap is something that could act this way for your business. If only 1% of those who see your wrap are intrigued enough to come into your business, and 10% of those people buy a product or services, then at the very least (from the above calculations) you’re looking at a yearly increase of 146 customers. That’s a conservative estimate. Such a wrap will pay for itself quickly.
