Giant is so close to me and sells some great items. We can grab some Tidy Cats cat litter in under 10 minutes if needed. We don’t realize we are out of it until we are needed it. Well some easy ways to make a quick toy without spending any extra money is to make it out of recycled material around your house.

Have an old paper towel roll. Make it so it can dispense a few pieces of cat food or treats for those felines. I can make one in no time. So you don’t need to get out your whole craft station. You Need

Toilet paper roll (Empty)

Scissors

Crayons/markers (optional)

First start by cutting the roll into small 1/2 -1 inch think rings. Then carefully put one on top of the other. You are wanting to make a ball and have no big opened gaps.

Then decorate it however you’d like. You can either leave ti as be and the cats will love it. You can also open it up a little and some treats. Let the cats play and figure out how to get them out. If the rings fall apart you can easily put them back together or make another one. Another option is to hot glue the rings down if you don’t want it to open or come apart.
