Additionally, it has a wide range of driver assistance features such as collision warning and mitigation with pedestrian detection, rear traffic alert and full speed range adaptive cruise.

Tougher and Stronger

This goes all the way from its surface to its roots. The truck’s external appearance looks tough with a muscular front grill and an emasculating body. Inside the hood, the F-150 includes a new 3.3 liter V6 engine among its engine lineup. Coupled with a 10 speed transmission, this truck has a speed for every situation. This gives it superior performance off road and more importantly, superior towing capabilities. This new engine has a towing capacity of 7700 pounds (which is quite a heavy load). Its tow/haul mode keeps gears low and the engine roaring with no shift shocks which gives the driver an easy and comfortable time on the wheel.

Exterior and Interior Improvements

The F-150 has new headlights and a new front bumper which together with the massive new front grill, give it a very muscular look. The tail also features new tail lights and a new bumper with an embossed tailgate which completes its masculine appearance as you looks at it from all angles. Additionally, it includes different appearance packages from which to choose from and these include a special edition appearance package, a sport appearance package, an STX appearance package and a chrome appearance package.

Its interior brags of a premium Bang and Olufsen audio system and a Wi-Fi system to keep you up to date at all times.

All these improvements have made the Ford F-150 regain its top spot and bag the most recent Motor Trend Truck of the Year award. It has redefined the basic understanding of a full size truck.
