Jerome Karam Attorney’s Altitude Trampoline Park Marks Anniversary After One Year of Successful Business
Everything is big in Texas, and this includes a 55,000 square foot trampoline park that is now the biggest in the country. The project is part of Jerome Karam’s portfolio of projects that are designed to inspire and help local communities overcome some of their biggest challenges.
The facility is located inside Jerome Karam’s Mall of the Mainland which he acquired in 2015 after the property was closed as it was no longer deemed viable at the time. But not only did Karam buy the property for his next project, but he has also transformed it into a successful venture that is quickly gaining the confidence of the local communities.
This August the trampoline park will be marking its first year since it opened its doors to the public. In the past one year, the Altitude Trampoline Park which is part of the Altitude franchise has made a record as having the highest sales compared to other franchises in the company.
Even though the 55,000 square feet is almost double the size of similar facilities in Houston and other areas around the country, the main reason for its success is not its size but the unique way the Texas, City, franchise location has made efforts to reach out to the community.
After the Santa Fe shooting in May 2018, the park opened its doors to students of Santa Fe high school at no cost. The students got an opportunity to let loose and be in the company of friends. Food and drinks were free and they could access all the games, activities and restaurants at the park.
Jerome Karam portfolio of redevelopments has been successful thanks to his ability to reach out to the local community and offer solutions that have a win-win value for the clients as well as for the business.
Through a social media contest, the park reached out to students in Houston by starting a “Tag a Teacher” give away. Students were to tag their favorite and most hardworking teacher on Facebook and the winner got $500 worth of school supplies for their classroom. Teachers also got passes to the park that they could give out to students as incentives. The contest generated more than 1,000 shares on the platform.
The Altitude Trampoline Park offers high energy trampolines and other games and activities such as a foam pit, trapeze, trampoline basketball, dodgeball, battle beam, amongst others. The service is ideal for teens, kids, groups as well as hosting birthday parties and fun events. Altitude Trampoline Park has helped bring in traffic into Mall of the Mainland which currently hosts Booker T World Gym Arena, Peak Performance, Cinemark, DAB Fitness, Booker T World Gym Arena, Palais Royal, amongst other establishments.
