Orlando is known throughout the world for its amazing theme parks, its incredible nightlife, and a lot of family activities. Orlando is a great place to do a spot of shopping. The area is home to 2 great outlet shopping malls and quite a few shopping centres too. You can grab yourself a bargain at the outlet shopping malls, or simply enjoy getting a few souvenirs and a few things for yourself, of course, at the shopping centres.
Some shopping malls allow you to store your purchases in a locker allowing you to carry on shopping until you can shop no more!
Eat Until you can Eat No More!
If you love nothing more than to tuck into a meal, you’ll love Orlando. There must be hundreds of different places to dine, offering something for every palate.
Make your way to International Drive where you’ll find many different restaurants and fast food joints offering American, Asian or Italian cuisine, along with steakhouses and all-you-can-eat restaurants too. There are many different restaurants all over Orlando, which means even the fussiest eaters will find something they love.
The Theme Parks
One thing you must do while you’re in the area is visit some of Orlando’s theme parks. You may not be the world’s biggest theme park fan, but they all need to be seen to be believed. From Walt Disney World to Sea World, Epcot, and Universal Orlando, the theme parks have it all. If you can avoid visiting the theme parks at the height of the season, do, they’ll be much quieter.
The Nightlife
You don’t have to stay up until 3 am to enjoy Orlando’s nightlife, but you can if you want to! Orlando’s nightlife is like nowhere else in America as it’s crammed full of bars and clubs that are there for your enjoyment. Head to CityWalk at Universal or make your way to Disney Springs and party until the early hours of the morning.
It’s a Great Base to Explore From
Orlando is the ideal place to stay if you would like to explore the rest of Florida. You can enjoy a day out in Miami, visit the Kennedy Space Center, or visit Tampa Bay. Orlando is ideal as you can reach all of these destinations and more very easily, and still make it back to your accommodation in time to enjoy an evening meal.
Orlando is a fantastic place to enjoy a vacation, whether you love shopping, eating out, visiting theme parks or partying until the sun comes up.
