Top Reasons Why you Need to Visit Canada

Canada is an amazing part of the world that is home to many natural wonders, incredible buildings and fantastic things to do. This part of the world is somewhere that you need to visit as soon as possible. However, don’t just take my word for it, let me show you just some of the top reasons why you need to visit Canada:

Its Amazing Cities

Canada is full to the brim of some amazing cities. Home to some of the cleanest cities in the world, they are also very safe, multicultural and nothing short of friendly. Cities such as Toronto aren’t just full of impressive buildings and clean streets, they are also quite beautiful. If you’re expecting the traditional grey city that’s full of traffic fumes and people who are clearly in a hurry you’re going to be disappointed.

Canadian cities such as Vancouver and Calgary tend to be quite a bit smaller than those you would find elsewhere. This means they are relatively easy to navigate, and a pleasure to spend a few days in.

The Natural Wonders

It’s fair to say that Canada really does have it all. From Niagara Falls to the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the Cabot Trail, this county will leave you wanting more. There are vast open landscapes that seem to go on forever, wild animals that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else, and clean country air. These are just some of the reasons why many people book a package holiday to Canada every year.

If you want to visit as many of Canada’s natural wonders as you can, my advice is to start with Niagara Falls. The falls are nothing short of outstanding and although you may get a little wet standing close to the falling water (Don’t worry, coats are provided), the experience is quite unlike any other.

Events and Festivals

While you may not be planning to visit Canada for its events and festivals they can be a real highlight of your trip. Some of the most popular events are the:

Toronto International Film Festival

Calgary Stampede

Canadian Tulip Festival (Ottawa)

Celtic Colours International Festival (Nova Scotia)

Celebration of Light (Vancouver)

If you’re going to be in town for one of the festivals, please note that you should expect the area to be very busy. Hotel prices may also be a little higher while the festivals are taking place so you may want to make alternative arrangements unless there’s a festival you really want to attend.

Other smaller cities also showcase a few events and festivals throughout the year, so why not do a spot of research and see what’s on offer?

Canada is simply an amazing country to visit. It is quite unlike any other place in the world thanks to its friendly people, clean cities and natural wonders. If you have the opportunity to visit Canada, my advice is to grab the opportunity with both hands and enjoy an exciting vacation in a wonderful part of the world.
