Can Laser Hair Removal Be Affordable?

Laser hair removal is one of the more popular procedures for hair removal these days, and many people have sworn off their razors and wax in favor of laser hair removal forever. Because the results are so great, many people feel the cost is a worthy investment, especially if it means they never have to shave again, experiencing painful knicks, razor burn, and ingrown hairs every again.

Still, laser hair removal costs a good bit more than shaving or waxing, for obvious reasons. And it’s a commitment – with a successful laser hair removal taking anywhere from 12 to 18 months, with sessions spaced out every six weeks or more, it’s something you have to fully commit to, and that can cost money. There are lots of people out there who would like to try laser hair removal, but are afraid of the cost.

Thinking of laser hair removal as an investment is your best bet – you’re investing in something that’s going to last you for years, and when compared with the thousands of dollars you’ve likely spent on wax, shaving cream and razors over the years, it seems like small change. Still, coming up with that money upfront can be a daunting prospect. We’ve got a few easy tips on how you can save money on laser hair removal. Laser hair removal does not have to be expensive if you implement these tips.

Pay Upfront

As sessions are spaced out over a long period, paying for each of these as you go adds up to a lot of money. If you can afford to pay for the entire laser hair removal upfront, you’ll actually save money, as most laser removal clinics offer deep discounts and savings for those who pay upfront. Check into this and see if it makes financial sense for you.

Look for Promotions and Incentives

Many salons and clinics offer deals for certain holidays, promotions, etc. Look for “back to school” sales, Valentine’s Day promotions, and more. Some clinics even offer referral discounts, if you have a friend or family member who is able to refer you. You’ll both save money! Some clinics may also offer “off season” laser hair removal, but if you choose to have this done in Spring or Summer, be sure you know the risks involved. Check out sites like Groupon, too. If you get creative and do your research, you’ll likely be able to find a deal!

Financing

Some laser hair removal clinics actually offer financing, where you can pay off your procedures over time. Or, if they don’t, they can refer you to a financial institution that offers loans or credit for these types of procedures. Talk with your local clinic or salon to see what kind of assistance they can recommend.

These are just a few tips on how to save money and still afford a laser hair removal procedure. You, too, can find ways to cheaply get this great investment without breaking the bank.
