Choosing a camp for your child can be difficult during this time. Fusion Academy has great small group virtual camps for children in grades 6 to 12. Fusion Academy has camps ranging from game design and digital media arts to social entrepreneurship and college prep. These small online groups are made up of 3-6 students with a 1 to 3 teacher/student ratio. Each camp runs Monday through Friday and are 2 hours each day with morning and afternoon options available for 1-8 weeks.
The Game Design camp is offered to middle school age students. Students will learn how to build the framework for a game of their own and learn how to make good games great. Students will focus as a team on the technical aspects required to build a functional and aesthetically interesting game while also including elements of storytelling. It will build each week and end with a big project.
For your high school students you can choose the college prep course. This course focuses on helping your student plan for their future. Fusion highlights each students strengths and will help them prepare for life after high school.
For your artsy students the digital media course would be a great fit. Fusion Digital Media Arts camp integrates graphic design, art, music, and photography all into one experience. This camp is ideal for students who are starting to explore innovation as well as those who are looking to expand their skill set.
Lastly, for the student showing interest in entrepreneurship, Fusion offers a social entrepreneurship course. Students will brainstorm out of the box ideas together as a team, learn about social enterprise, develop an entrepreneurial spirit, and drive change. Students will act as a media influencer using social media.
