8 Coolest Car Accessories to Transform Your Ride

You can add various kinds of customizations to your car. Some might be for comfort, while others may be for fun. Some may have practical applications. Before you go looking for stylish car accessories near me, you should think about which ones are most appealing to you. We will talk about a few options right now.

 A Dashboard Smartphone Holder

You might like using your smartphone to help you navigate when you’re driving. If you have an older model of car that does not have onboard navigation, this option makes sense. You can buy a smartphone holder that sits on your dashboard. When you put your smartphone in the holder, you can turn on Google Maps and follow the directions without needing to hold the phone.

A Sun Shade

You can buy various sun shades on Amazon or similar websites. Usually, you can compress them so they take up very little space. When you’re not using yours, you can stow it in the backseat or the trunk. When the sun is bright, you can take it out, unfold it, and put it on your car’s windshield inside the vehicle. It will keep the vehicle from getting too hot.

A Sunglasses Holder

You might purchase a sunglasses holder you can affix to the roof of your vehicle. Usually, you clip it to the flip-down sunshade that you’ll find on either the driver’s side or the passenger’s side. You can keep sunglasses there that you can put on when the sun is out, or you can keep regular glasses there as well.

A CD Holder

CDs are outdated technology at this point, but you can usually find them at library sales for as little as a dollar. You can go retro and buy a CD holder for your car, but only if you have an older vehicle that comes with a CD player.

Rims

You can get rims for your car’s tires. They serve no practical purpose, but they make your vehicle look fancy, and they come in many different sizes and styles.

Vanity Plates

You can grab a vanity plate from the DMV if you don’t mind paying a small fee. You will have to come up with a word or letter-and-number combination that nobody else has already thought of and claimed, though.

Car Eyelashes

You can buy eyelashes for your car that you can stick to the top of the headlights. Like rims, these serve no practical purpose, but if you have some on your vehicle, it shows that you have a quirky sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously.

 Window Tinting Material

If you want some privacy while you’re running errands, you might buy some window tinting material for your car. You can stick it to the interior of the windows, or you can buy tinted windows, though those cost more.   Be careful if you do this, though, as some cities and townships have certain rules about how much window tinting you can have on your car.
