2023 Chevrolet Suburban: Now With a Self-Driving System

Chevy first released its Suburban nearly 90 years ago, and it has been a top seller ever since. From powerful workhorses to family-friendly rides, Suburbans meet a wide range of needs. They offer ample towing power and plenty of interior cargo space and legroom. They’re also built for the long haul with some models serving their owners for decades without giving any real trouble.

Into the Modern Era

Countless people who are in the market for a chevrolet salt lake city have been chomping at the bit in anticipation of the 2023 Suburban. In true Chevrolet fashion, it’s packed with features people need. Of course, it also offers some highly sought-after luxuries. If you’re out for the latest Suburban, take a look at what you can expect from this iconic vehicle.

From the Outside In

Originally, the Suburban was known for its rugged outward appearance. Its design has evolved over the years, now offering a beautiful blend of toughness and elegance. That holds true for the 2023 lineup. Its eye-catching body lines and bold grille give way to LED headlights that are equipped with advanced visibility features.

Its interior is equally impressive. Per the norm for Suburbans, it offers comfortable seating for up to eight people. If, by chance, its owners need extra cargo space beyond what’s already available, the second- and third-row seats fold flat to accommodate. Leather and wood grain come together to prove today’s Suburban isn’t just a utility vehicle.

Self-Driving Capabilities

That brings us to one of the most advanced options available on the 2023 Suburban: autonomous driving capabilities. Chevy has dubbed its self-driving system AutoDrive Pro. It’s designed with state-of-the-art cameras, sensors, and radar, bringing the future into the present for new Chevy owners. This incredible system can handle most driving situations without the need for human intervention.

Drivers can choose different levels of autonomy with AutoDrive Pro. Those levels are classified by the Society of Automotive Engineers. At the lowest level, which is Level 2, you’ll have partial autonomous features. You’ll remain active in driving, but the Suburban will be able to control certain aspects of braking, steering, and acceleration. At Level 4, the Suburban maintains almost complete control in well-mapped areas and on highways.

With Chevy’s autonomous driving system, you can decide whether you want a little extra assistance or to allow the Suburban to chauffeur you around. If you’re among the many people who remain leery of such technology, though, the Suburban will relinquish control. The choice is yours. It’s designed to be user-friendly, too, so you don’t need advanced knowledge of engineering and technology to operate it.

Suburban Safety Features

Chevrolet has long been focused on safety, and that remains true with the 2023 Suburban. Its self-driving system adheres to the highest safety standards. It has advanced collision avoidance, pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control to name a few of its safety features. All those cameras, sensors, and other equipment mentioned earlier allow it to track information in real time. It can make split-second decisions and greatly reduce the risk of accidents.

Driving Into the Future

Chevrolet has made a name for itself over the years, and the Suburban is certainly part of the company’s ongoing legacy. The 2023 lineup is taking Suburban owners into the future. From its sleek appearance and comfortable interior to its astonishing AutoDrive Pro capabilities, the latest Suburban is packed with amazing features. It’s sure to redefine the way people experience driving.
