Five Ways to Look and Feel Younger Any Time

One thing that always tops the New Year Resolutions is looking and feeling younger. Whether it is the stress of work, the kids, the obstacles of last year, or just a combination of it all, we have aged. You notice a few lines that weren’t there before. You can’t bounce back from a date night with wine. How can you turn back time? Follow these five ways to a younger version of yourself. Not only will you look younger, but you will feel younger too.

Brighten Your Smile.

You may have heard that your smile is your billboard. It is the most prominent feature of your face. Now, regardless of the natural color of your teeth, over the years, the shade changes. Whether as a result of coffee, tea, cola, chocolate, or red wine, most teeth darken and stain in time. The easiest way to turn the clock back on your smile is to brighten your smile. You can start with a whitening toothpaste and/or rinse. However, you may want to see the maximum whitening and fast. That means you must do whitening trays or visit your dental professional for a whitening treatment with UV light. To learn more ways to keep your smile youthful, check out these dental care tips.

Start a Fun Exercise Routine.

One of the easiest ways to look and feel younger is to exercise. By exercising you tone and tighten muscles, burn calories, and jump-start your metabolism. You release endorphins that increase your energy as well. However, which exercise you choose makes a difference. There are many fad exercise programs and gyms out there. You may be a member of one or more of them. But, if you don’t like the exercise you do, you won’t do it frequently enough to make a difference. Select something that you enjoy doing to keep your routine. If you love the outdoors, opt for biking or hiking. If you have to work out at home, choose an online instructor that resonates with you.

Select Wise Food and Beverage Options.

In order to maintain your health, you must eat right and hydrate. If you aren’t eating enough fruits and vegetables with antioxidants, you must start. They are key to keeping yourself healthy and youthful. Additionally, add good fats to your diet such as almonds and avocados. Lastly, drink at least eight glasses of water a day. You can try to have a water bottle in your bedroom at night, by your desk during the day, and with you wherever you are at home or on the go. It is essential that you limit caffeinated beverages such as coffee, tea, colas as well as alcohol. Both caffeine and alcohol remove water from your body. If you do enjoy these beverages, make sure to pair each beverage with a glass of water.

Opt for Cosmetic Solutions.

There are tons of cosmetic solutions available. You can select a new moisturizer and foundation combo at your favorite beauty counter. You can book an exfoliating mask treatment or microdermabrasion session at your local spa. With both, you will see results, but if you want to really turn back the clock, try exploring the new options in laser and cosmetic surgery. The industry has evolved. No longer are there long recovery times. Nor is there a one-stop-shop for procedures. There is a facelift procedure for your specific goals, health, lifestyle, and budget.

Revamp Your Wardrobe and Accessories

It’s time to donate or upcycle your wardrobe. If you are looking for a more youthful look, change up your wardrobe. Watch the TV and/or browse online for the latest fashion trends. Start adding colors that are in as well as accessories that compliment your chosen style. Remember to dress younger doesn’t always mean shorter skirts and shorts. By selecting that looks great on you, you will feel better. Skinny jeans have been in for a while, but they may not be everyone’s ticket to looking youthful. Have fun with your wardrobe. It is an expression of who you are.
